A Friday ritual. A single photo - no words - capturing a moment from the week. A simple, special, extraordinary moment. A moment I want to pause, savor and remember. -soulemama
There is something magical about those sparkles in the water. And that little girl looking at it makes this a picture that could be part of a little fairy-tale...
Lovely moment! I so want to be there - as i'm sitting here freezing! And yes you 'really need to get a bicycle with a basket'. They are so much fun :-)
It looks to me like she's got that tired, comfy, perfect-full-day-in-sun feeling, where the glare on the water grabs your attention and then..just..sort of... holds it... a delicate moment, methinks.
Whenever I take my kids running by the water, my daughter would ask to stop and see the sparkles. This picture reminds me of that. Such simple beauty brings such fascination.
Trying to live a life of joy and see beauty in the ordinary. My days contain their fair share of bills, fussy children, and tedious errands. I want to focus on the lovely parts and be grateful for them. My life is not simple but I am going to strive everyday to make it more so. This is my journal for inspiration and gratitude.
She looks so fascinated! Lovely moment!

ReplyDeleteI love that the water is glistening...is her look pensive or just calm because of the water.
ReplyDeleteI love what you have written as an about me up in the upper right. I could see myself reflected in your words.
